REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Notice is hereby given that sealed
proposals will be received by the City of Williamsport/River
Valley Transit (RVT), at the City Clerk Office, Williamsport
City Hall, 245 West Fourth Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania,
17701, until 3:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Monday, April 8, 2013 for RIVER VALLEY
TRANSIT CNG BUILDING MODIFICATIONS.
Any bid received after closing
time will be returned unopened.
All bids and contracts are
subject to all applicable state and federal laws and to a
financial assistance contract between RVT and the US Department
of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Contractors will be required
to comply with all applicable Buy America, Non-Discrimination,
Non-Collusion, Lobbying, Debarment and Contractor Integrity laws
and regulations.
Bidders may not be on the Comptroller General's list of
ineligible contractors.
RVT solicits and encourages
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises participation.
DBE’s shall be afforded full consideration of their
response and will not be subject to discrimination.
RVT reserves the right to
postpone, to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in
part, or to waive any and all informalities, as it deems in its
best interest.
No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety
(90) days from the date bids are opened.
Bids
will be opened at a Public Bid Opening on Monday, April 8, 2013,
at 3:15 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall 245 West
Fourth Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
It is anticipated that bid award will be made at the
regular Williamsport City Council meeting on Thursday, April 18,
2013.
A non-mandatory pre-bid
meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at
the RVT offices located at 1500 West Third Street, Williamsport,
PA.
A copy of the bid package proposal and
related bid documents may be obtained at the following website:
http://bidplans.larsondesigngroup.com. Interested
parties are required to register on the website for the ability
to view and/or acquire Bid Documents for this project.
