Right To Know information and form

You may use the form provided to submit a written request for public records. The form is available here as a download or by mail upon request to our Open Records Officer. For additional information about Right To Know you may visit the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records website. The completed form may be submitted to the attention of RVTA’s Open Records Officer in person, by mail, by e-mail or by facsimile.

The written request should identify or describe the records sought with sufficient specificity to enable RVTA to ascertain which records are being requested and shall include the name and address (including an e-mail address where available) to which RVTA should address its response. Unless otherwise required by law, an explanation of the reason for the request or intended use of the records is not  necessary and RVTA may not deny a request for that reason.

    Be clear and concise. Provide as much specific detail as possible, ideally including subject matter, time frame, and type of record or party names. Use additional sheets if necessary. RTKL requests should seek records, not ask questions. Requesters are not required to explain why the records are sought or the intended use of the records unless otherwise required by law.
